Antique Globe Wernicke 6 Stack Barrister Bookcase
Early 1900s, American, from the Globe Wernicke Co., Cincinnati OH. A classic six stack barrister bookcase, with graduated size bookcases, in the 299 style (solid quarter sawn oak, oxidized brass hardware). 8 sections total, including base, two 12.25" bookcases, two 10.25" bookcases, two 8.5" bookcases and top. Bookcase dimensions are interior height, all bookcases are 9" deep. In overall excellent original condition, including original finish, labels, hardware, glass and drawer pulls. A fine example of the style, with great figuring to the oak.
