Early 1900s, American by the Globe Wernicke Co., Cincinnati OH. Unusual and rare seven stack bookcase, style 798.5 (quarter sawn early English oak, rich stain, brass bands) including one drawer base, one 10.25" bookcase, three 8.5" bookcases, one 8.5" leaded glass bookcase, and one top. Bookcase dimensions are interior height, all bookcases have interior depth of 9.5". Unique features include the wider size, two independent doors per section, and double drawer base. Retains original glass, hardware, and finish. Overall in excellent original condition, including the top and backs. There are no Globe Wernicke makers marks, but I have no doubt it is from the Globe factories. Some of the wood pieces are stamped with part numbers.
