Quartersawn oak sectional or stacking file cabinet, in the 298 style (quartersawn oak, lighter stain, with brass or brass oxidized hardware). Double step back arrangement, with rare deep cabinet section. Six pieces total, including 1 base, 1 deep stepback cabinet section, 1 shallow/map drawer section, 1 large file card section, 1 barrister bookcase section, and 1 top. Sliding door cabinet section has adjustable or removable shelves. Large file card section drawers hold standard or legal size paper and measure 9w x 14d x 4.75h internally. Piece is in overall very good to excellent original condition, with original hardware. Top in very good condition with some minor staining. Base is a modern reproduction, very well done in form and function. Original bases in this size are very difficult to source.
