Antique Globe Wernicke London Double Leaded Barrister Bookcase
Early 1900s, English, from the London factory of the Globe Wernicke Co., Cincinnati OH. A rare double wide graduated D size barrister bookcase, in a style 598 variation with mission style leaded glass (solid mahogany, lighter finish, oxidized brass hardware). 5 sections total, including double wide base, one12.25" bookcase, one 10.25" bookcase, one 8.5" bookcase and top. Bookcase dimensions are interior height, all bookcases are 9.5" deep. In overall very good to excellent original condition, including original finish, labels, hardware, glass and drawer pulls. One pane of glass on the bottom bookcase has a 1" crack, per pictures. Dimensions below for the overall piece.
