Antique Pair of Carved Rosewood Chinese Armchairs
Likely early 1900s, a pair of Chinese or Japanese hand carved rosewood armchairs with marble splats. Heavily carved throughout, including all four legs and skirt, arms and back. Large imperial guarding lions (foo dogs) featured on each arm and side of the chair back, dragons on each leg, and old man to chair back center; rear carved as well. Custom cushions in very good condition, but upholstery is stained; I would recommend buyer to have cushion reupholstered, or chairs can be used without cushions. In very good condition, considerably heavy, solid chairs.
Each - 30w x 23d x 40h
